Artist Profile

Marilyn Gates-Davis is a portrait artist, painter, graphic designer and illustrator living in Brandywine, Md. Her work has been shown in small galleries, businesses and several private collections in Maryland, Washington, DC and Virginia.

Most of her artwork shows the importance of faith and family. It also reflects the struggle, joys and the nostalgia of the family, the community and culture as an African American.
