
Marie Erb is a classically trained portrait artist and plein air painter. She has studied master painting techniques from original masterworks as a Copyist at the National Gallery of Art and has been instructed by Danni Dawson, Sara Linda Poly, and Robert Liberace at the Alexandria Art League School and Dan Thompson from the Art Student's League in New York.
Marie Erb's work is in private collections in the United States, Mexico, and Germany. Her work has been accepted into juried shows at the EXPO216 gallery in Wilmington, North Carolina, The Foundry Gallery and the Hill Center Galleries in Washington, DC, The Art League Gallery and The Target Gallery in Alexandria, Virginia, University of Maryland, the Prince George's Community College art galleries in Maryland as well as galleries in and around Santa fe, New Mexico.
