Biography

I reside in Upper Marlboro, MD.  I have been involved in the creative arts since the 1960's.

I work in acrylic painting, miniature set design, and model building.

I collaborate with photographers in a creative entity called Bright Side Pictures.  One of our most popular photos, called "Twilight Lady", has been published in the Washington Post!

Among my artistic influences are classic glamour photography, vintage airline travel posters, 18th century art and history, and classic rock. I have exhibited my work in many art shows in the D.C. area, and as far away as California.

Another accomplishment that I am proud of is that my work is also in the permanent digital photographic collection of the Smithsonian Museum of American History in Washington, D.C.

I have been an avid music fan, and enjoy playing my vintage Slingerland drums.

I also enjoy painting in acrylics and oils, and this work has also been exhibited in galleries in the D.C. area.

Through the miniature set design, painting, and photographs, I hope to reward the viewer with visually pleasing images.  I want to convey my appreciation of earlier stylistic achievements in history.
