Artist Profile

Marilyn is married and the mother of three adult children and one grandson. Throughout her life, Marilyn has had two loves: physics/math and art. Her initial career was as a Spacecraft Flight Operations Engineer with the last 20 years devoted to operating our nation’s weather satellites. During her engineering career she found ways to incorporate art, by illustrating a coworker’s book and designing the team logo. She is now developing her love of art and received her A.A. in Fine Art from Montgomery College December 2023. She is developing a technique to distort images and is studying the results of the distortions. She is fascinated by perspectives and anamorphic art. She was recognized and published by the Sligo Journal, Spring 2023.
